For two full years we have created monthly lists of the top beauty brands trending on social media. This report is an overview, analysis, and peek behind the curtains of our monthly Top 100 Skincare Brands Trending on Instagram lists for 2022. We have updated the list monthly for two years now and for all over 2022 the Top 100 Skincare Brands Trending on Instagram lists have been publicly shared on LinkedIn.
 
The List currently ranks 769 brands from all over the world. We take a broad definition of skincare which includes facial skincare, body care, sunscreen, tanning and hair removal. Most of the brands fall into the prestige category, but it also includes masstige and luxury brands. At the end of 2021 the list had 510 brands, meaning there are 259 additional brands included now.
