BEHIND MINTOIRO

Mintoiro was founded in 2020 by Jennifer Carlsson, a Stockholm-based beauty industry researcher, strategist, and designer. She leads the research behind Mintoiro’s reports, databases, and rankings, combining structured market analysis with a trained designer’s eye to evaluate not only how beauty brands perform, but how they are built, positioned, and visually expressed. With a background in brand identity and cosmetic packaging design, her work bridges data and aesthetics to interpret structural shifts across the global beauty market.

 

Jennifer is also the founder of the Beauty Design Awards, an annual initiative recognizing excellence in beauty across presentation, formulation, and overall brand execution. In addition to publishing industry reports, she collaborates with beauty brands and companies on custom research, strategic positioning, packaging design, and speaking engagements, and has served as a keynote speaker and panel contributor at major industry events.
